clskinsfan
In a normal winter a chance at 2 inches would have this thread at 50 pages. City folks getting cocky with their recent success. #snowtownDC. Gonna be nice to get some snow on snow tomorrow morning though in all seriousness. 3

I'm hoping my current snow cover can hang tough today, snow on snow is the best. Hoping the flip happens after 6am so I can witness it

baltosquid
The 12z HRRR looks like a bit of a step back so far. But we're still well out of the generally intended use range lol. Probably going to jump back and forth for a bit. This evening's runs when we finally get the whole event in the 18 hours will be fun for weenie trend watching. yoda
I'd expect a WWA from LWX sometime in the next few hours for most of the region... especially for the metros with the "1 inch rush hour rule"

General 1 to 3 across most of the area.
Baltimorewx
If some of the latest temperature modeling is correct (especially the latest HRRR), the biggest issue with this is probably the rapidly falling temps during the last couple hours of snow. HRRR has it going down to 25-26 degrees by 11AM generally area wide.
