understudyhero
If this booms federal workers are out of luck. If you are at work at eight you will have to leave at eight now to hopefully get there by ten during the best part of the storm? this is how you get chaos. If it booms. NorthArlington101
RAP runs as of late have deteriorated a fair bit, for what little it’s worth given that we often don’t even remember to look at them.

These setups never work here. Regardless of what the models were showing all day. To my knowledge the mesos are backpedaling on snowfall amounts the last couple hours leading up to game time which is typical in these setups.

Snowfan96
This looks to be setting up as one of those events that takes a bit longer than expected to turn to snow. most areas see an inch or less, except in a narrow band where just enough lift and moisture are maximized for local accums of 2-3 inches.

Snowfan96
A little surprised LWX bumped UP totals N/W… .NEAR TERM /THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT/... 9:15 PM UPDATE: Not too much has changed since the afternoon. With some of the hi-res guidance coming in a touch hotter, have decided to up the high end snowfall totals with the Thursday morning system. Still have an expected snowfall forecast of 1-2". However, addded a 3-4" contour along and just west of the I-95 corridor to account for some of the more aggressive model solutions given the strength of the arctic front.
