I know right? WTF where are my warnings? It can’t be expected to snow without them!! C’mon!!

Let me rephrase the question for you.  Why the delay? is it the lack of confidence at this time or are they just waiting for the noon daat to come in.

Does it matter? I mean seriously, its not like it won't snow because we don't yet have WWA

I work in the education and no one is expecting 1-3 inches tomorrow its going to catch people off guard that is all.

I'm not sure how no one is expecting it. Don't they watch the news? It's been mentioned in weather casts since Monday.

You also have to remember that it is going to rain first and the ground will be relatively warm... It will not be like Saturday when everything stuck on contact

Yes... but most I have spoken with this morning are expecting just what we call snow TV or maybe a dusting at most.  2-4" (if that were to be the amounts forecasted later today) is a big change

One day of mid 40s after numerous cold days and nights isn't going to magically make the ground super warm... the snow will still accumulate on the roads pretty quickly after starting/changover

Not to mention that without the benefit of pre-treatment, falling temperatures could cause a mess in the morning once temperatures do fall below freezing.
