Just went out for final measurement of the night. I'm now about 10 miles north of the changeover line so it was now or never.

29° with heavy snow, 4.8 inches so far, looks like I will make 5 and a little over.

The HRRR nailed this , at least so far, for my location Highland Mills in Orange County NY

Is a tornado possible with this storm?

Honestly wouldn't be crazy. There is a ton of 0-3km shear, the question is whether we can drag enough instability inland. There is very little CAPE, including 0-3km CAPE, at the moment. I not sure the environment is going to improve all that much for Long Island and southeast New England enough to really be trouble in the end.

You’ll probably be spot on here in the torrington area. We have about 1.5 otg ands probably another 1.5 or so to go before the changeover.

Eh, I liked my first map better....stuck with a widespread 1-3" of 2" or less, at least...too wide of an areas of 1" or less.
