mahk_webstah
Just woke up it’s snowing really hard. Don’t know how much but it’s already up to 29 so I figure we don’t have much longer

That usually mean up over 1k they are getting pounded. Past 2 hours had some of the heaviest snow rates I have seen in a while. Probably since Dec 2020.

It's a shit sandwich, but a lot of the forecast soundings are just on the verge of being supportive of snow at PWM when the bulk of the precip comes through. Maybe we get lucky a rip 2 or 3 inches in one hour before the flip. Just got up, but it appears that I went straight to rain. 37/35, wind ripping. What’s a +40 24-hour swing among friends?? MarkO
Looks like it just flipped to rain in Lowell by my ring camera 34.7/34.3, guesstimating about 4" there. I don't think I've gotten an inch yet here. 28.2/26.2, windy as hell.
Winging_it
SN starting to mix with RN here, just SE of Townsend center. Closing in on 6". 32F. An apparent meso low of sorts just east of us kept winds NW most of the night, now light E. Pleasant surprise to be on the giving side of the storm for a change. Edit: changed to all RN just after 7 AM. 6" total. Temp just edging above 32F.
dendrite
I assume crystal growth is subpar, but there’s an immense amount of flakeage out there. This is how you pull off 0.25”/hr liquid via snow. We’re not there yet though 23.7°

Not much wind here, but you’re 29° and CON is 30° so you must be out of the wedge now and able to mix some of that wind down. I didn’t think it’d be that windy before the changeover so that’s pretty cool.
