34 all rain in Media quite the temp swing today pressure 29.60 suddenly. Winds really picking up. Is there a high wind watch advisory or warning in place?

The wind products were only lofted at the shore locations -

My temp continues to rise and I'm now at 35 with dp rising in tandem at 34 and rain.  Haven't registered anything in the bucket yet as there's obviously snow on top of the opening but I expect that will dissolve away and get the tipper going again eventually.

The electronic signs on 422 were warning no empty or double-hauler trucks on I-176 for this evening. According to my anemometer, it's been steadily increasing since about 5pm, blowing 10mph-ish with gusts in the 15mph range as of now.

Do you think neighbors talk behind your back? As in, what the hell is he doing? If I was a neighbor and as a weenie I would know exactly what you're doing and probably bring over some Ketel One and contribute to the snow pile growth...

30F/Frz rain

Lol, they're probably used to it. I like your plan! Maybe we'd have a kettle fire to go along with it, if it wasn't raining (we have a tent for such occasions).

We did have some company earlier:

Yeah am wondering if Mt. Holly does a short-fused advisory if necessary.  The low hasn't gotten up here yet.  I expect the bigger show will happen overnight once it gets closer.

Am currently up to 36 and with dp 35.

Cool. Do you feed them? Or does the light attract them?  I watch 24/7 live cams on YouTube where the owner spreads food around and let them eat any time day or night....super mellow to view/stream if trying to sleep. Could be 10pm or 3am, they just enter the webcam and start to eat....you never know what to expect.

32F/ Basically all rain now...

This was in the 6:45 pm update to the forecast discussion earlier:

So looking at the 02z HRRR it shows this for 11 pm:

And the current Dover radar shows this:

So it could get interesting for some areas. I'm gonna need to free up more attachment space now, lol.

I almost hit one of those suckers on Bristol Road tonight during the heavier snow. Jumped right in front missed by a foot. That would have been a major buzzkill.

Yeah - the right front quadrant of the low.  It'll be dependent on the eventual position of it as it moves north.

ETA now up to 38 with 0.10" in the bucket.

We put some corn out at dusk for them. It's funny about the lights, one year we had no trees out front to put lights on, so we got a tree at a good price on Christmas Eve, staked it in place, and put lights on it. That night when the deer came around a couple of them were staring at the tree like "Wait a minute - I know about the lights, but I don't think that tree was there yesterday", lol.

Glad you missed him/her! A lot of them aren't so skilled at crossing streets. Not a good occasion to do "follow the leader".

Animals observe things more closely than humans which is kinda scary....but I know what you mean, you can tell by their expression and movement.

Up to 35F/Rain...great fun.
