Hey all. Happy that many of you enjoyed the snow.

Measurement is proving difficult. I have a measurement from about 15 minutes after the sleet started. Didn’t take another. Went out this morning to try and get another. Didn’t work out.

I weigh 212 pounds. Yes I’ve lost 20 since October thank you very much lol. My weight won’t break through this crust completely. That’s amazing. Anyway, broke a plastic ruler trying to get it through. We had heavy sleet for about 2 hours. I’m gonna go with 1/2” of sleet on top of this measurement, but I’m gonna also wait and collaborate with @clskinsfan, @EastCoast NPZ and @notvirga! to try and get as accurate of a measurement as possible. As you can see from the photo the sleet had already started.

I think we managed to stay at or below freezing all night. No evidence of any FRZ overnight. Just a glacier out there, but the road crews realllly overcompensated for their failures in the prior big storm.

Main drag is now not only driveable, but pavement is clearly visible! Almost time to shovel out. Need a bit more coffee...

Temp almost reached 43F overnight. 33 now. Healthy fresh dusting on all surfaces. I didn’t clean my snowboard last evening so can’t take an official measurement, but think 0.2” of fresh snow after a patio table measurement.

I've picked up at least a half inch since I woke at 6am, still snowing, though lightly.

Counting snow, sleet, compacting/melting and overnight lite dusting, think I'm gonna just go with 3" even, unless today over-performs.  Yesterday afternoon before sleet I had a few measurements approaching 2.7" and 2.8",

I know the temp got up close to 40 and plenty of rain overnight. Of course all of you experts moaning how the snow would be washed away were wrong. Still complete coverage including pavement. I'm happy with the landscape. Two spotters have 3.5" for here which means I wasn't a lucky punk but I'm still happy with the results :)

Looks like some wraparound snow came through at some point as it looks like all the snow on hard surfaces was washed away by the rain and now I have a light dusting there. Was pleasantly surprised to see the trees coated and a solid coating on grassy surfaces seemed to survive the monsoon.

Made it up to 33° for two hours overnight.  Now back below freezing here.  Barometer bottomed out at 29.01”

What were you able to measure?

Really tough to get an accurate # .

I was going with 3.5 but we added another half inch this morning so I was going to go with 4 but it's hard to say exactly.
