I’ll try to post some maps soon to compare. Long way to go… Here are some comparisons of the 12z Euro vs. the 0z Euro. The 12z Euro has the first wave weaker and further south than the 0z Euro. This allows time for colder air to build south, more similar to the GFS solution. 12z Euro top, 0z Euro middle, 12z GFS bottom.
Blizzard of 93
Here is 1 more Euro comparison. The 12z -top- has a weaker low that is not even worthy of an “L” on the map in western PA with more freezing rain further to the south than the 0z -bottom- which has a stronger low near Buffalo, NY at the same time stamp. Hopefully this is the beginning of its trend towards the GFS.

Voyager
My wind gusts are low as usual being in a protected valley as well as an urban neighborhood, but rurally they must be pretty fierce. We've had a few power flickers in the past few minutes.

Temp dropped from 40.5 at the onset to 29.2 at it's lowest, that all happened in 12 minutes. Sun is returning now and the temp is 30.2 That was a cool little event! Wife and I were driving around Etown area and they did noticeably better than us. I had nothing approaching .3”.

anotherman
Who wants sleet. Time to start big game hunting. I would take it instead of rain. I would also take it instead of 1-3 inches of white rain.Of course we are all looking for a big storm, but I’ll take a consolation prize.

I love my golf but it can wait a month or two yet. I understand your career lends you a different perspective.

MAG5035
I had to leave for the day right after the snow squall ended this morning, which best estimate I could get was about an inch. This apparently happened at 336pm this afternoon and it came with a 40.3mph sustained. Attn: @canderson lol
