mahantango#1
Kudos to NWS for the warning it could have been worse. At least it gave everyone notice what was about to transpire.
CarlislePaWx
Skies rapidly clearing with sunshine. Temp dropped to 29.6 before leveling off. Now back up to 32.4. Dusting already disappearing. Fun while it lasted. NWS said the squall was flying along at 55mph.

Very little sleet, and now 10" snow for me. Will the pendulum swing back the other way now? It was a great GFS run for snow for the turnpike area on north. The 12z Canadian was mostly ice for CTP. Lets see if the Euro makes a move soon?

Voyager
What it looked like in Tamaqua. Pretty impressive squall. Picked up 3/4 inch. I also shot a 10 minute video prior to taking the pic, but my hands were so numb I had to shut it down and warm up.

CarlislePaWx
Euro doesn't like what the GFS says. I can't see surface temps but the low ends up in northwest PA Friday morning at 12z. 850's around +4. Much rainier picture. Plenty of time for adjustments. Festus
Just like y'all, temp down to 31.5, visibility roughly 1/4 mile at peak, improving now. In terms of accumulation, looks like the grass has dandruff. Roads wet. That's about it.

Mount Joy Snowman
Wrapping up here, temp peaked at 41 right before the line then dropped to 31 as it passed. As expected, surface temps made for difficult accumulation down this way, just a dusting to a tenth. Winds are something though. Still an impressive little event for down around these parts. Temp dropped from 40.5 at the onset to 29.2 at it's lowest, that all happened in 12 minutes. Sun is returning now and the temp is 30.2 That was a cool little event!

Just where we want it at this range…hopefully….maybe? Imagine if the GFS is right for Friday and then the day 10 storm trends a little north? We could get caught up & then some in the snow department this season. At least we are back in the game!
