MJO812
Rgem is tucked near the coast It would be nice for these models to stop jumping to the convection offshore.

Blizzard of 93
0z Euro wasn’t too bad for the LSV.
Blizzard of 93
This a a cold storm & it’s January, where our typical ratio is 12 to 13 to 1, so Kuchera ratio should be best for this storm instead of the 10:1 maps.

Blizzard of 93
6z ICON looks decent. I only have this at 10:1, so Kuchera would be slightly higher amounts.

It this track verified, we would probably see even more upside than depicted on this snow map.

WmsptWx
I thought universally, the bar was set at 4 inches for significant? I know @candersonconvinced his wife of this, but I thought the meteorological community did as well.

It'll make that paper work look older, which shows you have been diligently working this entire time. I mean, that's my assumption. I watched Ben Kingsley dump a cup of coffee on some dude's blauschein in Schindler's List to convince the SS he was of an older variety, and while that guy likely still got gassed, he didn't get gassed immediately. I think somewhere in there is the analogy that I probably saved you your job. For now. You're welcome.
Bubbler86
HRRR bumped up start time a bit more....5pmish tomorrow around the Capital Beltway. Also starts off as rain in the western LSV area.
Mount Joy Snowman
I dropped to 23 last night. Still liking an area-wide 2-4" for this event with a couple lollipops. CTP map and HWO.... .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Light snow accumulation may result in hazardous travel conditions Thursday evening into Friday morning. An icy mix may result in hazardous travel conditions on Sunday.

Bubbler86
12Z Nam at 21 has the N/S Vort just above NY. Last night, at 0Z, it was slated to be east of Maine by that time (at least the lowest pressure as identified by the Nam)

At this point, I think there is a lot of confusion and multiple vorts running around up there. So not sure of the answer to that. Just an observation. Like I mentioned, people in the MA starting talking phasing yesterday. The opposite of spacing.

Bubbler86
S/W progress the MA about 50-100 miles further south than the 6Z Nam. Through NC then a turn NE (whether via transfer or just progression).
