KPITSnow
Just as an upstream warning for you guys, we are having mixing issues that weren't supposed to be showing up, so it looks like the models picking up on it weren't wrong.

wolfie09
Yeah Hrrr continues to trend warmer although it's relatively short lived (hr or two), at least as of now lol

Was originally at late 80s toro with a 7.5 HP motor handed down by my wife’s grandfather. When the original motor threw a rod I swapped it for a 13hp harbor freight and added the battery. I changed the pulley for the auger so it spins a little faster, and recently added rubber paddles to the second stage. The lid is Ss, I had to add that to keep snow out of the carb and governor linkage. Added the autobots logo while I was at it. The distance that it can throw snow is comical. Maybe I’ll finally get some video with this storm tomorrow.

TugHillMatt
Well, my hood has the deepest pack of our whole trip and there's a base to work off of. (Thank you, Lake Ontario.) Really hoping for some snowfall surprises...maybe dynamic cooling if it doesn't seem like the best setup.
vortmax
979 in Central PA?? Wow, is this thing trending stronger on the current surface map? 1000mb double barrel. Is this jumping to the coast early?? 18z NAM at about the same hour is 994....WAY over-amped... 3k NAM has the LP at 993 at 21z (surface map above is 21z - 1000mb)
rochesterdave
This has a pretty high bust potential. Anywhere east of Buffalo better be prepared for either scenario. I just have a bad feeling for the Rochester area. Listening to pingers all night will suck. Lol. The back end could save us but it would feel like a let down.

DeltaT13
1am to 7am looks to be our peak. This will be a long night and a sleepy Monday but that’s how she rolls. If there wasn’t football on I’d be sleeping now.

Surface map at 21z had the LP at 1000mb, the 3k NAM at 21z was 993. EDIT: 23z surface is now 996 (like you said), 3k NAM has it at 994. The move the LP NW a bit then due North. Hmm. DeltaT13
Less amped might mean further East and less mid level warming. We take? 3

It looks like the area along the coast is developing more than the inland low.
vortmax
Trying to understand why the HRRR jumps the LP to the coast, weakens the primary, then re-strenghtens it, and ultimately merges the 2 again further west. Anyone wanna explain that one??
