It quickly covered the slush. Yeah this is the longest it has snowed here. Don't wanna jinx it and say it won't change back over again, but seems encouraging. Just not sure how much we have left moving in.
PowellVolz
I think it's going to pivot for my area and start coming in from the N and NW around 5pm.I’m hoping the flow keeps me in the game. A lot of times the pivot that comes over you stays to my north by a few miles .

Shocker0
Hardest it has snowed since early this morning here. Hopefully it does pivot or we only have a couple hours left.

It's just clearing Nashville.

With the pivot, I could see it actually snowing longer here than the south and east areas of us, where it switched over sooner. Maybe that was why it took longer here was that it pivoted quicker there and changed over. It's been coming down good the last 15min though.
bearman
Every one on the forum needs to set your clock for 4 and all do a snow dance. Bring it down down down.
BuCoVaWx
I don't think I'm going to end up with anything. Mixed earlier, now I've been in dry slot for over 4 hours. Radar isn't looking good either, keeps pushing away. Oh well, can't win them all. Glad some of you guys are cashing in though, gives me hope for the future

dwagner88
Looks like I had around 0.70” fall as snow and fail to accumulate. I would not have thought that possible. I’m definitely hugging the NBM model from now on. It destroyed the globals for this event. Area mountains have 2-4”. More disappointment for the valley.
RawCrabMeat
I'm beginning to think snow dances work... but it would all of us.. we head outside do synchronized dance moves and what would happen is it would alter fate and energy + therefore guiding the storm and swinging snow back over the Apps. I'm not sure if you can do a cold dance though.

John1122
MRX forecast for the rest of the night for me is encouraging. Quote Snow before 4am, then a slight chance of snow after 5am. Low around 21. North wind 10 to 15 mph becoming west after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
PowellVolz
Also should have a ratio increase with the NW flow. Not sure how well mods handle that. .
Uncle Nasty
Snow stopped at 3:15 in Ooltewah. Started back at 4:00 and coming down at a nice clip. Hoping for 3 or 4 more hours of snow. Radar looks decent. I'm still amazed that Hixson, which is 15 miles as the crow flies, is still rain and hasn't seen a flake.
