fountainguy97
29.5 and a surprising costing across the deck this morning. HRRR is still the only model giving me any amount of snow with this onset precip. It may score a massive W at this point.

You're going to rack up I suspect, unless the warm nose MRX mentioned changes you to sleet or freezing rain. I actually started as snow and am now rain/snow mixed. I'd guess 150-200 feet above me is getting moderate snow right now. I wouldn't be surprised if I wasn't rain/snow mixed until noon or later while a few hundred feet away it just piles up. MRX mentioned that there wasn't much left to potentially cool the column any more for hours from now. It's snowing some of the biggest flakes I've ever seen right now. TWC has us going rain for 3 hours but I'm hoping it won't. The flakes are so big you can see the shadow of individual ones falling from the porch light
bearman
MRX has now put the entire valley under warning or winter weather advisory.

I'll bet you get a few inches down pretty quickly.
Shocker0
One more pic for now...still 33. No problems sticking to everything even after the rain. I'm sure Wintersnow888 is probably asleep but I'm curious if anyone else around Crossville is seeing snow right now since the radar shows rain even over me. EDIT: Looking at Crossville weather camera it looks like some snow at least in the street lights. 4

John1122
90/10 snow now. It feels like it's almost ready to unload, flake size is getting bigger.

bearman
Good old rain here in Knoxville. Not sure when the change over is suppose to take place. It seems to be slowly creeping into the valley. Maybe.

Holston_River_Rambler
I'm going to drink some coffee and then go on a little adventure up towards Wartburg. I bet I only have to drive 5 miles on highway 27 to get into the snow. That's just based on y'alls obs this AM. I haven't looked at the radar or temps up here yet.
fountainguy97
30/28. Flake size increasing and mostly snow now. Started as a mix with sleet I assume now the column is saturated. All this is gravy in my book this morning. roads covering instantly
bearman
Forcast has the change over @ 4pm if that is the case we are goiing to end up with very little snow. I hate the waiting and watching all the wasted moisture. It is dumping right now. If this keeps up flooding is going to be a problem.
John1122
Vehicles and decks now covered. Finally all snow and 33.2 degrees. Heavy returns south of me, hopefully I can stay snow.
Holston_River_Rambler
For you Chattanooga folks, looks like a rain/snow line is heading up Interstate 59: It's not too distinct until the last few frames. No clue if it keeps moving at that pace, but it is a fair clip.

Holston_River_Rambler
Just saw someone mention an ob of thunder near Huntsville on southerwx. It showed up on GOES derived flashes, and if that correlation coefficient above is right, someone in N AL just got thunder snow.
