About ready to call this one for us DC folks, just gotta pray we see something on the front end. You will. I’m flying back from Tampa on Sunday night, so knowing my luck this booms and I’m stuck down there! In all seriousness, 3-5 and then a dry slot would be pretty amazing considering what we’re looking at now. Hope you enjoy out west. Should be a nice storm for you guys.

Incidentally, Sterling under the radar has moved I-95 into the medium confidence, medium impact zone. An improvement! baltosquid
I don’t think we get shafted quite as badly as the NAM shows but 18z could definitely be the set of runs that crystallizes this as a 3 inch ceiling for the 95 corridor. Seemed liked 3-6 wasn’t out of the question but that diving NS is not going to have it. Gotta make peace with that. Oh, and don’t forget urban heat island effects…

It was pretty clear it was a sleet bomb for the Shen Valley. I would be fine with 3 inches of snow followed by 3 inches of sleet. It would keep the ground white for a long while at least.
