st0rmbrkr
No optimism in this system bringing snow to us anymore or is there still potential the models shift eastward? This lack of snow has me bummin!

Chicago916
I take it this is a faux wagons west that will correct back east? I would've expected people to at least get hopes up since the trend hasn't stopped yet?

Hoosier
Kind of a strange setup with the south dive and then such a quick/sharp turn northeast. Not really expecting this to keep trending west indefinitely but it's certainly looking more favorable for areas to the east. Unfortunately the lake effect parameters aren't that good while the flow is from a favorable direction, so can't even count on that to contribute anything of note around here. Powerball
What a weirdo system. If it keeps trending SW, even we might get snow from it.
hawkeye_wx
This morning's trend is not my friend. Models have resumed the drying of the east edge. The Euro is down to 2-3" and the UK 1-2". Others are a bit better, but trending down. It's a bizarre track. When it initially blows up in North Dakota it looks great for a southeast track right through my area, but then it suddenly drops south. Oh well, can't win 'em all. Hopefully we can all cash in in February.

Radtechwxman
Obviously long range HRRR not reliable but find it interesting it has the sfc low and snow shield significantly farther east than global models. Definitely something to keep an eye on.
