It may have lost some intensity, but it is still dumping at a couple inches per hour AND the band is fanning out a bit more. Gonna measure in about 10 minutes as that's about when this started for real.

CNY_WX
It’s amazing how fast the band fell apart once it was completely off the lake. It’s a shadow of it’s former self.

rochesterdave
Welp. There it is. Snowed like crazy for 45 mins or so. 1.5-2”. Now nothing. Pretty much what I expected. Now we see if we can get some bonus streamers. It WAS AWESOME! Drove home in it. The heart of the band had to be 2/hr type stuff. Intense. Wipers could barely keep up. TugHillMatt
The Volney area, just to the Northeast of Fulton, does even better. That's the Jackpot zone for this area. There's a slight ridge that runs across there and it's located at a great spot. I have kept my eyes open for homes in that area. lol

DeltaT13
That was incredibly heavy snow, wow! Honestly way heavier rates than anything I saw in Buffalo the other day. I was getting lost and disoriented on roads I’ve been on 100 times. 10 foot visibility at best during the peak. Really impressed. That was worth the price of admission. I took a couple vids but the camera does a great job of filtering out scattered light and noise so never really looks like much. I’ll see if any are decent after I eat.

Syrmax
Still moderate snow going on here. Should be thru in the next 30-40 minutes. After that...??
TugHillMatt
Better enjoy whatever we get tonight and tomorrow, because if the models are right, we might not see much for another week or two. lol... Could always get some "pop up" waves that show up a couple days beforehand, as we've seen already. I'm guessing we'll have a little break after the band/front goes through and some snow showers/smaller bands will start forming.
