1234snow
Some of these flakes are bigger than golf balls. I don't think I've ever seen snowflakes this big. Where are you at again? I forgot lol.
John1122
Don't have the flake size Holston has, more quarters but they are very very thick. My upper levels may be slightly less conducive for large large flakes. That said, the darkest blue returns are just to my south and moving north. But radar coverage isn't always great here so it's possible they are here and this is the heavy stuff but with smaller flakes.

Stovepipe
Decent light snow in west knox. No rain mixing in that I can tell. Hope we somehow avoid liquid. My weather station shows 36.7 degrees.

PowellVolz
South of 40 is going to get dry slotted. I might end up right on the southern edge of the better moisture .
nrgjeff
Nashville is mighty close to the dry slot. Southern 840 suburbs are probably about done. Downtown north could get clipped with what little back side this system offers. Meanwhile MRX is growing more confident about Knoxville. Mentions snow and ice covered roads evening rush hour Knox to TRI. Warm nose is trying, but I-40/I-81 are simply in a better position with this storm track than say Chattanooga. Or Signal Mtn. Oof!

Silas Lang
There is definitely a warm layer. When it slows down there is more mixed frozen precipitation. Making my yard nice and crunchy. Roads going to be bad later. However, no rain like forecasted.
Holston_River_Rambler
I must be just on the edge of the warm nose. As long as I have good rates, I have snow, but as soon as the rates drop off, it goes to a mix.

Dsty2001
On 2 future radars I am looking at (Not sure what they are based on) around 8pm it starts to look like a pivot giving eastern areas a bit of extended snow. I'm not giving up hope in Greeneville just yet
