Scraff
About to be yellow snowed on radar. Just don’t eat the yellow snow. 2
IronTy
Just lost a 20yr old river birch. Also a large Holly tree literally just uprooted and fell over. I cant even go outside to enjoy it because branches are falling left and right and I'd be afraid for my safety. In terms of destruction this is the worst storm I've had since I lived here since 2004. Even the derecho had fewer trees down. Power still down too.

MillvilleWx
So it seems I overestimated the ground warmth and despite my diatribe being pretty ominous, I might have low balled. I’m glad it’s breaking that way. Went conservative and SUPRISE!! A blitzing to remember. Enjoy the snow y’all. I’ll be living vicariously .
jmk
Went out with the kids, took 30 min just to get them geared up and they were done after 15 minutes but was fun to walk around. Coming down pretty good, i'd guess around 5-6 inches or so here in Gainesville.

Old Ellicott city at my brothers for this one. Not very often I make that decision, since I typically get much more snow than here. Not this time. Pretty sure my house has less than an inch on the ground.

osfan24
I wonder if BWI will end up with a pretty good total from this one. Would be nice to see BWI pick up its second biggest La Nina snowfall ever. Anyone know what the runner-up is to the blizzard of 96?
Random Chaos
Saw this on WTOP: Eastbound U.S. 50 before I-97 is closed. One lane is open westbound. Tractor-trailers have jackknifed.

Cobalt
5.8” as of 11am. Firmly into WSW criteria. The back end is close, but that band pivoting through DC looks like it might give us some action. Glad to hear that the SE peeps cashed in, great event for you guys!!.
