Action is south and east again. Let's see mid month. Agree. It's hard to envision big totals anywhere to be fair... I'd be a little surprised if anyone sees half a foot. Not one of our classic blockbuster fringe jobs, thankfully.

If this one somehow covers the lawn completely, which usually takes 2.5 to 3 inches I'll consider it a win. It's 50-50 where I am in Orange County if that even happens.
Juliancolton
This leaves much to be desired in terms of moisture and mid-level lift. At least the air is cold enough to accommodate light snowfall rates. 1-3" still looks like a safe bet, with the hope that any localized enhancements within the initial WAA push can get one toward the high end of that range. gravitylover
That was just a weird time all around. A benign winter was probably a good thing.

The 12.4" I got on 12/3/19 definitely covered my grass for about 10 days but yeah, met winter was lame with 3.3" on 1/18/20 being the biggest total. gravitylover
It's snowing pretty good, couple inches down. I'm going back to sleep.
CPcantmeasuresnow
25.0° and 1.8 inches as of 5AM, still snowing but light to sometimes moderate would describe it best. If I can eke out three inches from this I'll call it a win.
CPcantmeasuresnow
2.8 inches as of 6 am, so the 5-6 hour worked out well. I don't expect 6-7 am will be anywhere close to an additional inch. Envious of whats going on 50 miles to the south and east.

I didn't think KU-esque bands were on the table with this thing, but I guess I should know by now that if it's a coastal low, someone's getting 3-4"/hr rates. Very impressive. 2.2" here, looks nice but hard to get excited about

Good for the folks who got under it though.

Between that and not having much of a dog in the fight as you say, there was definitely no staying up for the 00z Euro... or the 12z on some days.

CPcantmeasuresnow
4.0 inches on the nose at 8:30 An over performer to the 2-3 I was expecting. I'll take it and run, and it looks great. Hopefully this is a jump start to bigger and better storms ahead, Would like to get below zero Tuesday and break this two year drought.
