It is the coldest reading on record in that part of the state. The weather station is managed by Virginia Tech at the Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge. I can’t even remember the last morning we weren’t in the 20’s or lower. Definitely had the cold air around this year, unfortunate we haven’t been able to cash in more but enjoyed our moderate snowstorm.
