They mentioned it hanging up in Central Jefferson county...but it's looking more like southern Jefferson and Northern Lewis counties. LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...A band of heavy lake effect snow will continue this morning east of Lake Ontario, across southern Jefferson and far northern Oswego counties, extending inland across the Tug Hill in western Lewis County. This band of snow will continue to drift slowly south through mid morning. Snowfall rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour are likely in this band. LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE... Carthage, Lowville, Pulaski, Adams, Adams Center, Barnes Corners, Highmarket, Richland, Denmark, New Bremen, Watson, Martinsburg, Henderson, and Rodman.
