would bet on the kick aspect of it. Though that should bring some light snow maybe decent lake effect with the ull energy swinging through

looks like we could have the potential for another snow squall line developing as well if this solution were to verify.  This time period does look interesting to watch.

Nice video!  The first 60 seconds what kind of speed were you maintaining?  Looks like you were still coasting along at 30 maybe?  Right at the 60 second mark that vehicle just appears so fast out of the snow.  Driving on 81?

I'm not sure how fast I was going. 30 sounds about right. And yes 81. That day experienced the lowest visibility driving I've experienced this winter.

Temps are going to get up to 60 in the valley according to the HRRR. Feels like a TN February being under a flood watch with these temps!

Past several years we've been getting a freakin' monsoon down there starting in February and continuing through May. Just nonstop rain and lots of flooding.

Quite the squall line moving through down there.

The worst visibility of the entire trip was actually in the Adirondacks where I almost went off the road. We were driving from lake placid up the mountain to jay peak and along the river we hit some crazy snowsqualls. Forward the video to 1 minute.

Been in that exact stretch before in very similar conditions in a semi. Only difference was I did in the day time… talk about a pucker factor…

The Syracuse microclimate - at the mercy of any change in wind direction. Winds shifted from East and temp dropped 8 degrees. A wind from the south hills and it jumps right back up.

Yup! I can't stand it. lol... If I had known, I wouldn't have picked this place...still kick myself for not choosing Springville. My wife was even ok with it there. But, she seemed more interested in this area. So, here we are.
