TugHillMatt
Yikes... 3 to 5 inches of orographic lift RAIN on the Tug?!? That is going to put a huge hurt on an already weak season there. ROUGH several winters for this part of New York.

TugHillMatt
Pattern is definitely looking quite active from this point forward for the next several weeks. Looks like wintry risks and not a "total shutout" until March like some discussion had been on. Looks like into next week is a transition period of warmups with fronts and snow behind them..and then perhaps a pretty solid transition back to winter for a couple weeks? Pretty impressive how the low dewpoints have helped the snow to survive. It really puts into perspective how winters are out west with the skiing conditions. Temps in the 40s but low dewpoints makes a big difference in snow pack survival.

Actually looking forward to these warm temps. It feels so good to go outside and not be freezing cold.
