TugHillMatt
@Syrmax, you ready for some more pennies to add on to your totals? BGM's take on Thursday night/Friday: There will be a chance for a brief period of a wintry mix as the front moves through, especially if the cold air at the surface outruns the warmer air aloft. Snow is not expected to be heavy as the upper level trough is expected to kick the low out of the area quickly. Up to a half inch of snow in spots from the Southern Tier northward can be expected into Friday morning. Lake effect snow showers are expected across the northern Finger Lakes to Oneida county as the cold air moves into the area from the NW. Some isolated showers may reach down into the Southern Tier but the majority of the lake effect showers are expected across the northern counties. Accumulation will be low with under an inch expected before showers dissipate Friday evening.

That would be great for no cutters or suppression. Clippers or Gradient systems, perhaps? Hopefully enough cold, as averages are going up at that time. Wow, your total this season has been like half of what we've had, yet you have like 2 times more than the Syracuse area (maybe more). Shows you how much the Saharasizzlecuse effect sucks. TugHillMatt
18Z Rgem has made some pretty significant changes from 06Z to 18Z. Can we for once get one of these situations that often screw us where we're the jackpot and then within 48 hours hundreds of miles to the SE wins? Keep 'er coming south... Buffalo is good to go.

lakeeffectkid383
Looking better for sure for a 3-5” snow for the Niagara Frontier. At least we’ll replenish some of what we lose from the rain though I’m sure we’ll lose more than 5” of pack. Still sitting on 11” of total glacier pack here.
