Pretty hard not to get excited with this potential. Might not be the snowiest winter here yet but the constant cold and as if 8 days ago solid snowpack have been nice. Now the clippers are adding to the fun.

Yesterday was gorgeous. Snow all day and night and the most insane day of football ever.

My deepest condolences Bills fans. Nobody deserved to lose that one.

Sincerely,

A perpetually losing Dolphins fan

I realize you're in the horrible winter climate of NYC, but you type as if we've had some amazing winter up here. Other than the Buffalo area, this winter has sucked in comparison to average up here as well. We know we get much more snow than you, but it still seems like a rather snow-parched winter...particularly when my region is 25 to 40 inches BELOW normal snowfall for the winter.

Perspective...if it was my 1st or 2nd winter here, yes disappointing so far but... look at what they've had around NYC/LO...very little.

BUF at 46.9" so far in January, good enough for 9th snowiest January on record.

JAN Temps

BUF: -2.4
ROC: -5.0
WAT: -6.4
SYR: -2.5
BING: -3.2

SYR 17.8" snow month to date. BGM 17.5".  Potential is there to get close to normal by end of month, which i think is around 32" for SYR.  If we do we'll need the nickel and dimes to end up being quarters and half dollar pieces real fast.

Always a chance if we keep these cold temps for surprises.
