PowellVolz
I appreciate all of the obs posts and analysis. I'm currently in south knox about 2 miles from downtown. Hanging around 40 degrees. I reckon I'm gonna have to stay up for this one. Seems too good to be true!Same approach here. I can’t shake the feeling Mother Nature has sold me some snake oil. .

Dsty2001
Judging by weather station temperature readings, there is a 10 degree separation between Greeneville TN and Rutledge, which is about a 50 mile difference. Temp here in Greeneville has dropped about 3 degrees in the last hour

*Flash*
Left Spring Hill with 2-2.5". The drive up 65 to 440 wasn't terrible; however, I got the impression TDOT wasn't fully tapping into their copious salt supply. As a former TDOT employee, the road quality tonight baffled me. Too many cars in ditches south of the 65/840 intersection.

The RadarScope precip depiction has evidently lagged obs a bit tonight, but it's showing the changeover occurring beyond the plateau roughly at a line from Soddy Daisy up to maybe Caryville. I think it's happening.

dwagner88
The CC changeover line has now entered Hamilton county, but on top of Signal mountain. Let’s see how long it takes to get down the valley. I’m finally in the 30’s here, but a long way to go still.
