ORH_wxman
Cape has ptype issues for a chunk of it....but if that creeps west, then it would be snow over other areas.

Chrisrotary12
At H500, hour 54, it nearly closes off south of Long Island and then at hour 57 its wide open again. If we could get it to close completely at 57 then I think more than just P-Town would be in the game.

SouthCoastMA
It's still trying to figure out which low is going to be dominant. If the northwest low hangs on longer and stronger..that may tug the one that develops near Bermuda further NW before it becomes dominant. I'm not sure if that makes any meteorogical sense, but that's what I see.

Apologies, I was looking and comparing the 00z and 12z from last night/yesterday. I do believe that just like with our last storm, the interaction of the lows is going to be crucial to determine the path of the storm, which will best be observed via nowcasting. Hazey
This storm was glossed over a little to prematurely IMO. I thought this would correct west and still a full 24hrs to go.
George001
This Friday storm might be closer for us east guys than the Monday one. Definitely something to watch.

Hazey
There is like a parade of clippers on the gfs. Not worried if a few don't work out. At least it isn't boring like Christmas time.

I think the '87 storm was a huge bust too...winter storm warnings out for most of BOS area and the thing decides to just squeeze east but destroy the Cape in an epic manner. The graidnet must have been epic....CHH 28", HYA 16", East Wareham 10"....then Kingston coop had like 3"....lol

dendrite
That low level arctic air is just about to start being advected in when it’s brushing the cape. Even if it came NW it’d probably be a race with precip getting shutoff/virga.
