I know you hate cold without snow but I do dig this bitter cold weather. Seasonal. Just me. I hate the heat. Lol.

Especially when the snow is firm packed cold, slick at times, and skiing is fast.  Fast skiing conditions (because groomed smooth stuff is the only terrain open) in a cold air mass just leads to even colder skiing.  It’s not like you can work up some body energy like you can in natural snow, off-piste or ungroomed snow.

Its cold and fast right now.

That's how I like the groomers, but a little warmer and some sun to soften things a tad would be nice. It's a bit too firm/icy to really get a good footing when going fast. Harder to settle into the quick turn repetition when you see a slide coming every 20 feet. I still prefer this over mashed potato slop in the spring, just my preference. My wife and kids definitely don't agree with me. LOL
