OBS-NOWCAST for Periods of mostly light snow 10PM today- 10AM Friday 12/24/21- first measurable NYC with 1-3" Catskills to CT

Coating in Long Beach when I woke up. Might have been more, was melting pretty fast. Gone now.

Snow fall (incomplete CT) for event...  all NYC airports measured snowfall.  Even though a pocket of 2" nw NJ, the general larger amounts were in CT/MA. Click map for greater clarity.

A white Christmas it was/is for most of the I84 corridor including extreme nw NJ elevations with 1/2" or greater amounts still on the ground this morning.
