RT1980
But cancel winter! No chance of snow in Charlotte or Raleigh. The red tag said so, so it must be true!
eyewall
Hopefully we will have better luck next winter. For now the TS Conditions in Raleigh are pretty impressive.
gman
Our heat came on this morning for the first time in 10 days. I don't ever remember not needing the heat for that many days around the holidays.

Cold Rain
Pattern is starting to look supportive of a legit winter storm soon. It would be better if north Atlantic ridging migrated near Greenland/eastern Canada, but we can definitely work with the pattern shown. Fingers crossed.

eyewall
We are not getting shite from this one. This is a Mid-Atlantic/Northeast event. The exception may be a small amount in the mountains. 2 1

Has a tendency to do that a lot around here. If we can get some spacing it may be able to dig a little more and tap into some more moisture.
85snowline
The good news is more favorable pattern shift for snow. The bad news is the warm nose has really screwed Concord the past 10yrs. No doubt global warming is a factor. Still a good 75 days for a perfect setup. We are all due another 93 or 96

PackGrad05
WRAL's future cast is showing a mix or snow flurries in NC northern counties... Wouldn't take much for it to come south. Their future cast model is based on the Baron model.
