Also your wsw had 4-7" forecast for Bow which will probably verify towards the lower end.  I never saw any forecast calling for 10" def not from nws.

The thing to remember about the WSW text too is that its an average across all zones included in that warning segment. So in this case everywhere from Pittsburg to Nashua. So it's a broad range.

Well, I think I called this one.  I just wasn’t excited about this in the Capital region of NH.  Really felt the models were under doing the warmth over the past 48hrs here.  I called for a bust potential with most accumulations on grassy surfaces and that seems like exactly what we got?  The radar to the west of us looks horrific and I can’t see any way right now we get 6-10”?

I think you are overstating what was expected and warm surfaces had no impact because they weren’t that warm anyhow

Sheared vortmax through Ottawa...I should’ve been even more pessimistic but I got too wrapped up in the models 2 days ago when they were trending colder and looked like a decent shot of lift on the front end.

If that was tracking through PA or even souther tier of NY and not a sheared mess, that would have been a different ballgame. This kind of reminds me of that MLK weekend event in January 2020....we had a much better antecedent airmass so we stayed all snow but the upper energy was a sheared disaster displaces NW so it was like 3-5” of sand and garbage rates with a shredded radar.

Yeah there were a lot of red flags. I was with you being too optimistic a couple days ago. Thought we could wring out 3-4’’ but it’s not happening.

Yep. Don’t get me wrong...I’d love to even get 2-3” so the peeps up north are lucky in my book.

But this was pretty hideous.

Welcome back Eek!  How are the banana trees

They look pretty mad sitting cramped in a small pot. Probably not as mad as the ones that I couldn't fit through the door, though.

Now we don't have to rely solely on Scooter when he's visiting the lake for complaints about our snow forecasts!

3.75" on my deck railing right now.

Good lord, what’s happening in here.  Christmas trees getting lit on fire by some?

Snowing hard now.  2-3” very dense inches.  Lots of QPF in this.  Flake size just got much better.  Bulk here was 6-10pm I think so should be getting into it.

Central and Northern. Mitch up to me kind of porked in SVT with the mid level warmth punching through. Been crappy growth for a good portion of the day too.  Maybe 2-3".

I was in Wallingford and it was definitely better Rutland north.
