McHenrySnow
I hope it weakens before it gets to Madisonville, biggest city in its track at this point. Still quite a bit away though.
nwohweather
I’ve never seen this much debris falling out on a radar. Until that main line catches up, this thing is going to continue to be violent. Absolutely amazing how long this has gone unimpeded by neighboring storms

nwohweather
What’s horrifying is that this low is deepening and SRH levels across the region are rising considerably. LCL by and large is only 600 meters as well. In all honesty, this is the best environment of the evening currently

McHenrySnow
Princeton, KY looks like a possible direct hit if there's still a tornado on the ground by that point. I grew up in western Kentucky. I know this area well. Devastating.

btcs31
Following the big stuff down south. Was not expecting to hear tornado sirens going off here in far NW IN. Shows how far reaching this is.
Moderately Unstable
Not sure if others have noticed but because Paducah is so close to Benton, Springfield MO is currently issuing the warnings for Paducah's CWA. (This occurs when the NWS staff need to take cover. There's a built in shelter in every NWS office). Edit: power failure. Hm. My memory is clearly going bad, I thought they had backups for that. 1

Not ideal. was just wondering this myself. wow. this storm would be impressive in april or may. the fact that it has occurred in december is surreal. it has maintained that classic supercell look for about thirty mins now. I've been watching https://www.kfvs12.com/livestream/ and they've been very confused about old data for the past ~10 minutes. Really a dangerous situation when most people depend on the news for their safety and the news is telling them that the cell has been stuck over grand rivers when it's actually already over princeton.
