why wasnt that snow?  looks like an offshore system

Look at where the low is positioned. It also stalled for days, so it was all easterly onshore flow. Similar to December 92. It’s only a matter of time before we see a similar scenario and the damage at the coast will be incredible. Ash Wednesday on the Jersey shore and Delmarva was more damaging then Sandy due to successive high tide cycles with 30 foot waves causing extreme beach erosion

I wonder if there's a way for a storm to stall for 3 days and produce all snow for us.  The Dec 1992 storm wasn't that far off from being a snowstorm and we actually had accumulating snow on the 3rd day of the storm as it shifted to our east.

So let's say the storm stalled near Cape Cod for 3 days, could that produce an all snow storm, basically a blizzard version of December 1992 for us?

Good morning Liberty, CIK62. What is concerning to me is that the “what if”  extreme scenarios seem to be moving steadily from the realm of fiction to that of plausibility. Stay well, as always ….

it's sobering to learn that the late 90s had four straight winters (and five out of six) with less snowfall than this winter.

Interesting how the early 90s had more normal snowfall winters, was Feb 1991 the month when we had that 36 hour surprise neutercane snowstorm?

Good evening forky. If I read this correctly we’ll have to get to the west coast of Central America to cool off in the warm season. Better I remain not knowing what I’m looking at. As always ….

Scientists say it's too late to stop climate catastrophe, we need to learn to adapt and live with the consequences of our actions.

Someone: posts a snow map

Response: that sound you all just heard was 19's gag reflux

Next response: the models are underestimating this ridge that you seem to have an extreme fetish with.  I envision a wonderful wedding for you with the SE Ridge in Bermuda over the summer; you will of course, be the wife.

Next response: Hope you die
