Ash Wednesday on the Jersey shore and Delmarva was more damaging then Sandy due to successive high tide cycles with 30 foot waves causing extreme beach erosion

The Dec 1992 storm wasn't that far off from being a snowstorm and we actually had accumulating snow on the 3rd day of the storm as it shifted to our east. So let's say the storm stalled near Cape Cod for 3 days, could that produce an all snow storm, basically a blizzard version of December 1992 for us? What is concerning to me is that the “what if” extreme scenarios seem to be moving steadily from the realm of fiction to that of plausibility. Interesting how the early 90s had more normal snowfall winters, was Feb 1991 the month when we had that 36 hour surprise neutercane snowstorm? gravitylover
I kinda like them. Not for the absolute numbers but to see snowfall patterns in pretty colors. I can look at a few different snowfall maps and it's easy to visualize good and not so good areas.
