Honestly, we knew the rates were going to be low this evening anyway. 10pm-2am as long as we can avoid the dry slot should be better

Ok, but the 8-12" forecast still isn't out of the question, likely already 2" and if we hit good rates overnight, like what was originally forecasted we could be right there. If I recall correctly from the models this morning, there was about 6" on the ground by the time the dry slot encroached at 10 or 11 pm. That's a tough ask.

Mailman
.NEAR TERM /THROUGH MONDAY/... No major changes were needed for the eve as the overall forecast trend remains on track with 1.5 to 2 inches of snow and numerous reports of mixed pcpn reported as of 00z. The additional measure of increased wind gusts in the wake of the low was completed for Monday, but any additional headlines were deferred to the mid shift as per the ongoing warning. real
Just drove from Lawrenceville to Bakery Square in the city. I would say city has 3. I’ve not seen sleet in last 90 minutes. Just moderate snow, and it’s now accumulating better than it did earlier

I don't want a bust, and I still think we get to a respectable total (which, IMO, is >8"), so don't lump me in with him.
