JTA66
Currently 50F with .90” so far. Apparently a WWA goes into effect later this morning? May have to wipe down the car doors so they don’t freeze shut.

Hurricane Agnes
Last briefing issued by Mt. Holly - Currently holding at 54 (EDIT - just ticked up to 55) here in NW Philly with dp 54. Got a couple hundreds more of rain and am up to 0.24" for the day (total 0.67" for the 2-day event). Looks like there is a heavier band pushing down this way from the NW. There are still some Kamu-sized plowed mounds around that are about to become glaciers, but just looked and yeah, almost all (except for some patches here and there in shady/north-facing areas) is gone. Rtd208
Temp still holding at 57 here but the front is not far away. Temps should begin to fall rapidly over the next couple of hours.
Hurricane Agnes
Am under that little line of heavier precip (1/3rd in/hr so far) and am up to 0.29" with steady rain. Temp holding at 55.

Hurricane Agnes
And just like that - BOOM - the passage of the precip line heralded an 8 degree temp drop. Now down to 47 with dp 46. Am up to 0.32" of rain so far (0.75" for the 2 days). EDIT - now down to 46 (9 degree drop) and winds have picked up.

The Iceman
Despite the impressive drop, looking at obs, the freezing line has barely budged southeast in the last hour+ so appears the truly arctic air is getting hung up in the Appalachians. Hurricane Agnes
Down to 42 with some steady light rain and now at 0.39" (0.82" for the 2 days) and a fascinating doppler. You can definitely see where the freezing line is and there is that band now cutting through Jersey with the cold air behind it.

Physicsteve
Any obs from the Poconos area? Supposed to be up near Gouldsboro tomorrow morning and wondering how the conditions and infrastructure are faring? Are conditions better, same, or worse than progged? Thanks and sorry for the me-centric post

JTA66
Been sitting at 40F for about at hour now. 3K NAM shows a little frozen in the NW burbs late this afternoon/early evening. We'll see.
Violentweatherfan
Will there be any wind associated with this cold front? Usually there is, and will blow dry the walkways and roadways limiting any icing probabilities.
