WxUSAF
North is always the huge risk with these clippers. But there’s a lot of vorts flying around so I’d just take each run as entertainment until Thursday-Friday at least.

Winter Wizard
Going to be a pretty messy, volatile forecast with a pattern that supports multiple weak waves over the coming days. Have to think the Euro is a bit too amplified, but key difference I see between the models is greater separation between the Friday-Saturday wave and the early week wave. If that first system lingers, would likely keep it south and sheared apart like what the GFS showed. On the other hand, a more amplified system usually trends north. 3

IronTy
Man I just read on CWG that Doug Hill died. He lived right near me and I met him at a few charity events and we even talked weather a couple times. Was my favorite DC met. He was 71. 1

StormchaserChuck!
That's one heck of a -PNA.. Dec 4-6. Almost breaks +480dm, it might in verification. Edit: I think this means no Stratospheric warming till at least Dec 10th, which means less -NAO signal until ~jan10th, fwiw 1

That said clippers can be nice up here if they take the right trajectory. I’ve had 4-6” a few times up here from a clipper. But it’s too early to know the track yet. I was more chuckling at remembering last year being kind to your location with marginal events that shafted the 95 corridor. Didn't you end up with something like 150% of your median? NorthArlington101
Looks alot like the euroYeah, didn’t mean to be *too* dismissive of it for tbd region: decent early season event for Baltimore north. Won’t cut it for many, though.
nj2va
May head out to Deep Creek on Sunday AM for this one to get an early season fix. GFS advertising 10” through Monday night (realize exact amounts TBD but potential certainly there).
SnowenOutThere
Euro looking less amped as the low is in the north central U.S. but goes south and has snow for the d.c area at 105.
