Just as long as it doesn't move any more north and east, we have a chance. I am noticing the models ever-so-slightly making those adjustments. What I am seeing on the models goes along with what is so common in our region with these waves: Precip. mimima over the Finger Lakes, moisture loss in Finger Lakes shredder, late redevelopment of precip. until it hits I 81 and eastward. The GFS has been persistent with a deepening area of low pressure tracking across NYS while other models show a much weaker system tracking to the south.
