Almost whiteout conditions driving on the 90 when the winds pick up, luckily temps are still in mid 30s so it’s not really sticking but with moderate to heavy snow and 50+ mph gust it looks absolutely gnarley out there. If conditions are anything like this during the night good luck getting any kind of a passing game going. Luckily think the snow will be well south of the stadium by kickoff.

Not so sure of that. There’s quite a pinwheel of snow showers over S. Ontario headlong ESE. Might make it into Niagara Frontier by 630 or 7.

Up in Cicero NY now which will be for 2 weeks straight

Getting use to local tv channels I like CBS TV5 as they mentioned poss 3-6 maybe from route 31 north( I am right off rt 31)

I just wish to see my driveway cleared of snow by the company I hired for the season

Hopefully fun times ahead

Route 31 itself is usually in the snow game when they say things like that. If the bands aren't going to make it to 31 they usually just say little if any in Onondaga county. You will more commonly hear them refer to "north of the Thruway" as the snow line.

The action off erie looks more impressive than I thought. Could be interesting

Looking pretty sparse to me.  Few small cellular pulses flaring up but quite honestly the on off snow bursts are good enough in my opinion.  Activity off Huron has really picked up last hour maybe a signal Erie will do the same?

Picked up about 10" synoptic and another 12-14"+ of LES so far hard to really gauge due to wind and drifting. Took me over 2 hours to clear my driveway using my plow, blower and shovel. Over 60" on the year now.

This Pic below of my patio table isn't a true representation of snowfall/depth as its against my house and protected somewhat from the snow. The fence is about 28" high for reference.

Nice! I had a job interview AND offer in Gaylord years ago....and the wife said NO. "Too far north" for her. :( I love that area.

That's quite common at the start of lake effect periods...especially early in the season.

Had graupel in Cicero, actually my wife pointed that out to me.

I will be watching radar and I had floods put up at key locations so I can see the flakes easily

Hooking up my 5 in 1 acurite to add to my two others  in the Catskills and Long Island on Weather Underground

Are you in Cicero now, or watching from webcams?
