cyclone77
Looks like the first 10 days of the month will be pretty quiet. Next week looks cool and dry, with widespread hard freeze potential mid to late week across a good chunk of the sub.
CheeselandSkies
Ugh. Was hoping it would stay mild through next weekend for my wedding on 11/6. Oh well, we knew when we scheduled that date we couldn't count on good weather.

CheeselandSkies
51/35 forecast for Saturday. Can't complain for November in Wisconsin, especially considering two years ago we had snow before Halloween.

hawkeye_wx
The Cedar Rapids airport dropped to 25º. Here in town it was around 28º. The next few nights should be lower. I'm still protecting a few flower pots in the garage because we have another warm period beginning this weekend.

I didn't see the totals from yesterday but they were thinking it might break the Alaska and maybe even US record for 24 hour snowfall. That is why I posted it. Possibly 12' of snow by the end of the storm.
Brian D
Cold, blustery, and snowing right now. Typical "popcorn" snow showers with temps in the mid-30's riding the NW flow. Supposed to make it into the low 40's today, and if it does, would only be for a brief time this afternoon. Looks nice by the weekend with highs around 50.

Almost all TV mets now have a Met degree of some sort
