butterfish55
Wild night, could hear trees falling in the woods after getting woken up around 3. Still gusting mid 40s. No school in the Bridgewater-Raynham district. Only lost power for a short time. Municipal power company FTW. Can't wait for it to get light and survey any damage

Waiting for dawn to see what the tree situation is like. Storm total is 1.73" so far according to the Davis in the backyard by the water.

kdxken
4 am ] BOOM! 32 ft seas at the Gloucester buoy! Largest measured waves I can remember at this location. Very impressive wave heights this close to shore. #MAwx #Boston

jconsor
These wind reports are comparable to some seen on the Cape in the Dec 24-25, 1995 nor'easter, with the 80+ mph reports also more widespread than the Oct 29-30, 2017 "Bomb Cyclone" (the storm that may have made that term viral haha).
Warwick WX
Woke up to gusts over 50 here next to the airport with transformer sparks lighting up the sky every 5-10 seconds, but somehow still have power. All of Warwick Neck is out, had to break the news to my poor brother-in-law in Aruba to see if anything needs to be saved from their freezer. Can only imagine the south shore based on how fresh the breeze is here!
