vpbob21
Looks like European models vs. North American models on the 0z runs. Hopefully the GFS and CMC trend better on the 12z runs.
snowlover2
So basically the southern half of IN and most of Ohio is the storm in question. Knew kuchera would be higher.
snowlover2
6z GFS brought the storm back but was a little too east for most.

Gino27
We need some separation between waves. The better runs has that first bit of energy well out of the way and not suppressing the one we’re interested in
jaf316
Looking a bit suppressed now on the euro too
snowlover2
Better to be on the north side of the bullseye than in it or south at this point.
snowlover2
18z GFS was a step in the right direction. Came back NW a bit and looked a little better organized.
jaf316
I'm sure we'll continue to see lots of model wobbles and wiggles over the next few days. At least it's something to track... 1

Also, look how much the models have shifted with tomorrows follow up storm. Long way to go

Still not good, though. Won't be long until we keep kicking the can again after coming out of one of the least snowiest Decembers ever. We'd hate to go for one of the least snowiest Januaries next. OOZ gfs erased any progress. First wave of energy sticks around forever and suppresses the daylights out of our signal. Extra frustrating given how close this is to being SOMETHING in this dismal winter.
