Another day with upper 40s and light rain/mist. Get this shit out of here already.

I stupidly went for a hike.  I look like I hopped in a shower fully dressed.

Couldn’t get any more wet if I jumped in a pool.

Plenty of leaf drop in the rain above 2500ft especially, the forest canopy is opening up.

Yeah, pretty sure peak leaf color on the flanks of the Whites is already happening inside the cloud deck. Hope this shit clears out for tomorrow so we can get some pics.

The change in just the last 24 hours has been nuts.  A chilly, rainy 72 hours looks like it is injecting steroids into the foliage.  Even on the hillsides down into town under 1,000ft it changed quite a bit.

Cloudy, drizzle and cool. Tried to play a few holes of golf during a brief interlude. Started up again by the 4th hole. Decided to head down to W. Leb was much different not 10 miles south. Was partly cloudy and Upper 60s when I got down here.

I wish I could get a decent pic. Really has started to pop in places.
