weathafella
And here in Chicago it’s high summer. Nevertheless in the 48 hours I’ve been here I’ve seen leaf change. Temperature is not the biggest factor.

powderfreak
~0.70” today. Rained all day, but cold season rain, not convective. Just that steady 0.05”/hr type stuff it seemed. Ceilings were very low all day. Low-50s temps.

Mostly sunny to start today, then should see partly to mostly cloudy skies this afternoon as a mid level cloud deck over wrn NY/PA advect eastward. Despite these clouds temps should be on the warm side, with highs reaching 80 in near the CT river valley which should be one of the last areas to cloud over. Don’t let things you can’t control bother you. Gorgeous autumn weather last week, yesterday and today. Winter will come…that you can bet on.. “As usual.” And Forky is a spoon, and that concrete jungle he lives in is an urban heat island nightmare.
