Warmest Oct on record . Continues right into November

Been above for sure +2, but by no means the warmest.  Go look at Oct 2007.  That's a blowtorch thru 1st 1/3 of month.  Rest of month was similar.  Ended at +7.1F.

Snowfall for those following winters were all above average.

Sept/Oct warmth definitely does not scare me. November torches scare me more.

Can't recall that Winter at all.

Huge December and then it faded somewhat...esp south of pike. Same winter where we had the epic traffic disaster in the December 13th storm that came in like a wall mid/late morning.

It had a great December, but sort of sputtered in srn areas after that. The Cape and SE areas did have a heck of a storm in January, but I can see why you wouldn't remember it much. That was the December that had the awful commute storm. 12/13/07.  That is one commute I would like erased from memory.

Ha, ninja'd from Will.

I remember Kevin's post. Sleeting at 19, while HYA was S+ and 33F.

12/16/07. That storm will live in infamy. I had a 3-6” forecast back then (and I was a little more bullish than other outlets)...only took about 3 hours to get obliterated.

Breakfast and football, nothing better.

Rather than watching the Jets I'll watch Italy/Belgium.

PWM is really looking like it will challenge 2017 for some of the warm records, especially when it comes to low temps (like fewest <40 days).
