If they don’t blow out private drive then there is zero chance we leave tomorrow. Can’t wait to see what this place looks like with the sun shining on all this snow. The main roads aren’t in very good shape and probably won’t be until Wednesday.
Blue_Ridge_Escarpment
Right at 10.5 here so far and still pouring. If HRRR is right, 14 is not out of the question. 5
strongwxnc
It's still pouring here from this pivoting band. I have picked up another inch the past hourYeah that Band meant business. I was on the southside of it and maybe needed a quarter of an inch. Still lightly snowing now with no wind. Maybe some more in the box later. But it has been Whinery for the last 25 hours which is awesome.
BhamParker
That band coming from the SW looks like the last heavy band we had a couple hours ago and it’s not moving super fast. Should be a fun one to watch before dark.

strongwxnc
Going with 5 1/2 inches here but I’ve got 1’ drifts! .
wncsnow
It's pretty neat seeing the trees and bushes whiten up again after the sleet and wind knocked off a lot of snow earlier.
WNC_Fort
Hope I can eek out an inch from that band in the SW but what an event!
Tacoma
10 inches here in West Asheville/Candler area and snowing pretty good. May get a foot of snow yet
BhamParker
Beautiful, rates picking back up. Bet these drifts will be 3 ft before it’s all said and done. Wife and I went on a walk and had many spots that measured 15-18 inches. Coming up over my just about my knee high boots.

Or @Blue_Ridge_Escarpment can we expect that ULL to give us some good rates even up this way later on based on anything you’ve looked at as of recent? It’s just going to be a matter of where those rotating bands set up. I’ve been under for about 90 mins and picked up an inch or two.

BretWx
Think this last little pop coming into Henderson might be things wrapping up. Holy hell what a storm! I’ll measure after that’s done with. Cheers! 1
