You can call it normal or above normal, one thing this week definitely has been is "more of the same"

Several days in a row now where there has been only very insignificant changes in sky appearance, high temps and low temps.

Another constant: My a/c churning on to keep it 74 in the house.

Yea, lots of variables in these different months.  Then there is this one below which is downright ugly until it breaks on the 12th.   Not really breaking down the whys just posting that even though most of us agree that it is warmer now than in the past (stats bear it out), there have been plenty of warm Octobers before and during our lifespans.  Not just in the 2000's.  I could post just as many Octobers where it stayed below 70 almost the whole month and had freezing night time lows.  Unfortunately, we did not draw that lot so far.    Trough forming in the west right now so we are not going to be happy until that translates east.   Most people did not have A/C when this happened.

Why, thank you for thinking of me.  That bolded day is literally the day I was born!  My mother used to tell me about how warm it had been in the days leading up to my birth.  She went to the hospital not even wearing a light jacket.

I mentioned back on Tuesday that my low temp had remained at or above 64.0 degrees for two straight days.  Well, incredibly, that streak has continued another two more days and we will break 100 hours above 64.0 in a few hours.  My low this morning was 64.0.  I can't ever remember it staying this warm at night for this many days in a row.  Crazy!

Half past nooners and parsing over area temps it seems many are in the low 70's with some scattered upper 60's.  Hate to get my giddy up on and look at the GFS in case it is bad news.

What exactly is a nooner? My mind goes in one direction hearing that...

Partly sunny and 74 here. Just back from a walk and the mosquitoes are still horrid.

The best part of working from home and why I told my boss in 2022 I only want to go in once/week.
