I have never been to Iowa State either. Im just gonna say that Penn State must be sold out of 4" tube tops....cause MANY seemed to be wearing them on Saturday. As the parent of a daughter similar in age to these "kids"....I looked at my bud, and we collectively just shook heads and said "good Lord" and "hell NO". not sure if we'd win the fight, but it'd be said. 1

Definitely so far. The highs the last few days have been 4-8 degrees over but the lows have been close to 10 over. But MDT only getting down to 56 so far this month is crazy. Bubbler86
Would be interesting for someone to take their local gears temps from the last 15 days see where they are at using MDT's averages. Some like Cash and myself are going to be way below to the tune of -4 to -6 but some like Voyager and Training will probably be very close to average. My wife stepped right up and put her in her place. I was so proud of her that night. Until morning, when I realized my wife adjusted it to 70. This is why I paid off the house as fast as possible.

TimB
12z GFS does what it should in September. Warm -> cold front in 8 days or so -> seasonable with mostly sub-60 dewpoints -> chilly with a 540 line through almost all of PA (actually dips to the VA/NC border at the end). And again the warm is just a tad above or below average over the next week + Waffles back and forth on both highs and lows. Some 50's for lows, some low 80's for highs. Some Dp's in the 50's but mostly low to mid 60's.
