Even the remaining “heat” over the next week could probably be more accurately described as “warmth”, save for maybe a day here or there.

We have a great shot at a second consecutive Sept with no 90 degree days if MDT holds off today. Most Sept's have had 90 degree days when I parsed back about 20 years. I do not make half cocked, crazy statements most of the time. But yes on the GFS, today is the hottest day over the rest of the month. Euro as well over 10 days.

Bubbler86
10:15, 76 and quite sunny. First day we have a chance to really get warm here. Just in time for severe.
Itstrainingtime
My prediction for the week was a fail - I thought I'd reach 90 at least twice this week...hopefully it doesn't happen at all. Yesterday's high was 88. Sitting at 77 now.

Multiple evenings over the past couple of weeks that the temp has been rising well after dark, and yet days under full sun when the temp barely budges. I'll gladly send the heat up the hill on 743 north to Etown.
