I went to Pittsburgh once for a Red Sox game. After the game, walking across whatever bridge back downtown, some yahoo tried to burn me with his cigarette. I very nearly threw him over said bridge.

That's my one and only Pittsburgh story.

Good for him. Get that Red Sox sh*t out of Pittsburgh. :)

I once saw a tranny (tite, not mission) passed out in a shopping cart on the Strip district in Pittsburgh. That's on Smallman Street.

I have other Pittsburgh stories, but that's the only one that I ever tell.

July is a good month to start swinging the leg.

It's never too early to pretend one has an idea about NAO's, PNA's and ENSO's.  Just make sure to pepper your post with words like oscillations, Azores High, DJF (instead of spelling out months), eddies and the word coupling.  If people see those words they skip to the end of your post where the info they understand is located, confident that the meat and potatoes snow forecast is based on science.

A whole lot of truth in this post.

Oh, yea.  Sorry.  That was assumed and sort of what I was mocking.  It's human nature....don't talk up anything due to the risk of being hurt.

I'm guilty of that thinking when it comes to sports. I think some believe I'm like that with snow, but I feel like I'm simply a realist.

I think most of us are.  Related topic, I saw an article the other day that pointed out 11 words or phrases that we also say to try and cushion stuff.

My boss says "does this make sense" all the time...and I almost always reply with "no". LOL

The game last night didn’t inspire much confidence that Sunday won’t be a Tomlin special.

That was an ugly game in terms of penalties.

Even if they get through next week and get to 6-3, the back end of the schedule goes:

at Chargers
at Bengals
Ravens
at Vikings
Titans
at Chiefs
Browns
at Ravens

I think they probably beat the Vikings and win maybe 2 of the other 7 games to get to 9-8.

Going to be tough for sure. What a schedule coming up. WOW!

Tough schedule for sure.

Earlier in the year I was convinced that the division would sweep them. I now think they'll split with the Ravens, beat the Browns again, and...and...I have no idea.

9-8 probably sounds about right. A lot better than the 6-11 I thought back in late August.
