Any western folks getting the winter storm side of this event?

Extremely windy here.

Looks like cold temps have pressed further east than expected. It's 32 in Jamestown and it looks like some mixed areas are showing up in Fentress and Scott as well as southern Kentucky.

Just got home from Kingston Springs. Went from just cold rain to glazy conditions in the Bluff. Hard surfaces are pretty slick though the roads are okay. That elevation change coming up Snake Hill (popular route to Montgomery Bell State Park from the I-40 MM188 exit) is fascinating if you're into microclimatology.

Note: Per NWS grids, we weren't expected to receive any freezing rain at my location so I would say this system is overperforming so far.

Thunder and lightning along with extremely heavy rain here this AM! Not just 1 or 2 lightning strikes either. This storm that just went through would make a summer time storm proud!

Just had a snow shower roll through.

Couple of light sleet showers rolled through here this morning.  I was like, "What in the world is that?"  Fairly decent sized pingers.

Started sleeting here. Pretty large sleet pellets. Don't know if I have seen any so big. Like mini hail balls. lol

Same mixed bag here in Bearden area. About to head back to Morgan county so I’ll be interested to see what it is doing up that way.

Sleet mixed now when the precip lightened up. Looks like it's struggling to come further north.

Been some virga moving over but deeper returns look like they are about to get here. Hopefully it's snow when it does arrive.

It is a burst of snow and sleet mixed. Coming down pretty good.

Mostly rain here with a little bit of very wet snow mixed in.

Ended up switched to rain snow mixed for most of the night. No accumulations here. That initial burst was heavy before the rain mixed down. 

Above 2500 my cousins had a couple inches.
